HONG KONG China Travel Conference and Event Management (CTCEM) will organise the China Enterprises Expo and Conference (CEEC 2005) and the China Enterprises Summit Forum (CESF 2005), to be held at Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from May 18 to 20, 2005.
The two events, designed as a platform for large-scale Chinese and Hong Kong enterprises to showcase their services and financial products to international investors, are expected to draw more than 15,000 visitors from Hong Kong, mainland China, Macau, other Asian countries, Australia and the US.
CTCEM, a wholly owned subsidiary of China Travel Service (HK) and China Travel International Hong Kong, mainly offers event organising and management services, such as international conferences, exhibitions and corporate activities.
The event management company was established to cope with the growing events business since the end of last year, in the wake of an improving economy following the end of Sars, said Doris Lam, deputy general manager of CTCEM.
She noted CTCEM has handled more than 20 meetings and events for the first six months of this year, with all meetings accommodating more than 300 participants.
Due to its China Travel Services connection and support, the company also handles conferences of over 500 participants in mainland China and Southeast Asia.
