Creative superstars headline Spikes 2007

Fernanda Romana, ECD of Lowe New York, and Chukiat Jaroensuk, chief creative officer of Euro RSCG Flagship Thailand, are the latest heavyweights to join the judging panel for Media's Spikes 2007 - for which entries have already jumped 20 per cent over last year.

With Romana's appointment, the inaugural interactive jury, presided by Glue London founder Mike Cridge, is now complete. The seven-strong team also includes top creative mettle such as Wieden & Kennedy Amsterdam's Joakim Borg-strom, OgilvyOne Asia-Pacific's Dirk Eschenbacher, Net-X's Shaun Branagan, TBWA's Graham Kelly and e-Crusade Hong Kong's Endy Fung.

On the main panel, our new judges include Prasoon Joshi, chairman of McCann Erickson India, Jureeporn Thai-dumrong, founder and ECD of JEH United, Lim Sau Hoong, CEO and ECD of 10AM Communications and Steve Simpson, partner and ECD of Goodby, Silverstein & Partners. Led by Spikes jury chairman Bob Scarpelli, chairman and chief creative officer of DDB Worldwide, the 16-strong main panel will judge work from across the region to identify the best in the industry. This year, they will also review work in a new direct marketing category.

The awards presentation will be held at the Ritz-Carlton Bali. Go to www.mediaspikes.com for more details.
