How did you get into advertising?
My uncle ran a small agency in KL. He wanted an account executive and my mother wanted me out of the house. I lasted a week. Fortunately, there was a opening in the creative department.
What was your first ever ad?
A press ad thanking the Malaysian Prime Minster for attending some launch. Classy.
Which ad do you wish you’d made?
I’m a fanboy when it comes to KesselsKramer. The Hans Brinker work still makes me smile.

Lustrous locks. Soulful eyes. Nice teeth. And a healthy curiosity.
What does it take to impress you?
Anything that can be described as never been done, WTF?! or a spectacular failure.
Where do you go to be inspired?
Anywhere but the office. Unless it’s the restroom on the third floor, second cubicle from the left.
Who do you consider to be a creative genius?
Oprah. Enough said.
If you were not working in advertising, where would you work?
Definitely a marine biologist. I’d move from coast to coast, enjoy plenty of deep sea diving and one day I’d have a species of plankton named after me.

1. Dallas Divas and Daughters
2. Finding sneakers online, my personal porn
3. Benson & Hedges

What’s your favourite song lyric?
Some day somebody's gonna make you want to
Turn around and say goodbye
Until then baby are you going to let them
Hold you down and make you cry…
Don't you know things can change
Things will go your way
If you hold on for one more day
