CREATION: XS-Media to host Time Inc inventory
<p>XS-Media has signed an exclusive deal with Time Inc Asia to host
</p><p>media inventory, worth more than USdollars 150 million, for sale through
</p><p>its online trading platform.

</p><p>Time Inc's Asiaweek and Time titles will host regular inventory, special
</p><p>inventory and sponsorship packages on the site, which goes live this
</p><p>month, according to XS-Media general manager Winnie Bolande.

</p><p>"We have a host of media owners who have signed up with us, including
</p><p>Time and Asiaweek. I think this (buying and selling media online) is
</p><p>definitely on people's mind and those in the industry know which way it
</p><p>is heading, and are keen to learn more about how it works," Ms Bolande
</p><p>said.

</p><p>XS-Media, she claimed, had confirmed more than 1,100 media buyers from
</p><p>Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and New Zealand. This represents an
</p><p>estimated 60 per cent of media buyers with a buying power of more than
</p><p>USdollars 5 billion.

</p><p>The website is a community site for the media and advertising
</p><p>industries, and also provides related news and opinions, media kit
</p><p>information, research highlights, jobs, as well as an online trading
</p><p>platform.

</p><p>Inventory listed on the site includes local and regional print titles,
</p><p>outdoor media, online media, conference and exhibition sponsorship and
</p><p>television packages.

</p><p>XS-Media co-founder Julie Harrison added, "Online trading is in its
</p><p>infancy, but we are confident that our platform will provide Asiaweek
