CReATION: Stubbs departs for US, but remains with Euro
<p>In the wake of a glittering three-year career putting Hong Kong in </p><p>the real know about the Internet revolution, Ms Ruth Stubbs is leaving </p><p>Euro RSCG Hong Kong for a career in the United States. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Having spent five years with the agency, the last three in the SAR, she </p><p>relocates to San Francisco to assume the role of Media Contacts </p><p>director. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>She was most-recently Euro's interactive media director. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Remaining within the Euro framework - Media Contacts being a division of </p><p>the Media Planning Group and one of the newer acquisitions of Euro </p><p>parent, the Havas Group - Ms Stubbs kicks off her latest tenure on July </p><p>1. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"With the West Coast booming with dotcom businesses, I will have my work </p><p>cut out for me - (though) I still remain part of the Euro RSCG Network," </p><p>she told CReATION. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Ms Stubbs - one of the pioneers of the new era of interactive media, </p><p>successfully making the transition from a traditional media background - </p><p>was named Media Person of the Year at MEDIA's 1999 Agency of the Year </p><p>Awards. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Taking the mantle from Ms Stubbs is ex-Zenith Media staffer Candida </p><p>Ness. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>She joins off the back of a 12-year career in media, most recently as </p><p>Coca-Cola group director. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Starting her post at Euro in May, Ms Ness' brief focuses on Web media </p><p>and sees her working alongside media director Jessica Ho on the Intel </p><p>account. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
