CReATION: Stewart sets up Filter Interactive

<p>OglivyInteractive Thailand strategic planner Mr Ian Stewart has </p><p>left the firm to establish his own Internet marketing and strategy </p><p>company, Filter Interactive. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The new enterprise would be the first in Thailand to offer clients a one </p><p>stop shop to set up, market and manage their Internet businesses, </p><p>claimed Mr Stewart. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"We are filling a gap by being the one to centrally manage the whole </p><p>project rather than several different agencies or departments. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"In Thailand, you often have one company for design and development, one </p><p>for marketing or public relations and another for managing the site, </p><p>plus the many client departments also involved." </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>He said Filter Interactive was unique because it would take the </p><p>interactive strategy and execution role in Thailand closer to developed </p><p>Internet markets in North America, Hong Kong or Singapore. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The company has created a strategy to help customers avoid having to </p><p>retain multiple agencies to start Internet businesses. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>First is an interactive strategy to develop website blueprints. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Second is innovative, quick response for on and offline marketing </p><p>campaigns that build brand equity and drive site loyalty. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Third is website project management to keep the whole process </p><p>coordinated and focused once the site is up and running. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mr Stewart said, "Companies want results quickly. They need to create </p><p>quick awareness and quick brand building that drives traffic to the </p><p>Website. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>"In terms of marketing, our role online will be to close the loop, </p><p>making sure users bookmark the site, stay engaged and have something new </p><p>to do every time they log on." </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Hutchison Telecommunications (Thailand) has already retained Filter </p><p>Interactive. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Other key clients include developer Inet Asia, venture capitalist </p><p>Startupasia.com and online marketplace SueKai.com. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The company has booked fees worth six million baht (US$154,000) </p><p>for the remainder of 2000. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>According to Mr Stewart, Filter Interactive was also forming strategic </p><p>alliances with a Web developer, a design agency, and an event management </p><p>company so the company could more efficiently offer complete services to </p><p>clients. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
