Star TV has appointed Renren Media as the official sponsor to
develop and maintain the "micro-website" for the film "I Do".
The film is the media network's first venture into Chinese film
production and is aimed at increasing its Chinese programming
content.
The film is scheduled for release at the end of this month and marks the
first time in the history of Asia's Chinese film industry that an online
site has been created to promote a film through interactive
features.
Visitors to the site can review the film's plot and characters, as well
as read about the backgrounds of the producer and director, download
visuals from the photo gallery and watch trailers.
The film, directed by Cheung Chi-sing and produced by Michael Mak
Dong-kit, depicts the attitudes and behaviours of young people in Hong
Kong towards love and sex.
