In celebration of the launch of its traditional and simplified
Chinese-language MSN Hotmail service, Microsoft's MSN launched a
'heliosphere' to promote the new service in Hong Kong.
MSN has investedUSdollars 150 million worldwide to build awareness and
drive traffic to the website.
The promotion was part of the USdollars 90 million campaign to build the
MSN brand in Asia.
The massive helium balloon drew the attention of passers by as it
suspended a trapeze artiste in mid-air, performing a breath-taking
half-hour show set against the backdrop of Hong Kong's skyline.
