CReATION: Hongkong.com scores revenue increase for Q1
<p>Sparked by its March IPO, Hongkong.com Corporation announced a </p><p>whopping 9,327 per cent increase in January-March 2000 revenue over the </p><p>same period in '99. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The number of advertisers on the portal grew from 40 last year to 70 </p><p>today. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>In total, advertising, content services and ecommerce were the three </p><p>money-spinners, attracting revenue of HK$8.2 million, HK$6.9 million and HK$1.2 million respectively. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Pageviews saw a 28 per cent increase to 3.2 million pageviews in the </p><p>quarter. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Web Connection teams up with XT3 to solidify Australian presence. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Web Connection has forged ties with Australian 'Net integration company </p><p>XT3. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The "strategic partnership and buy-out agreement" is set to enable local </p><p>Australian firms penetrate Asia's Internet space, while capitalising on </p><p>XT3's market offerings including strategy development, design services </p><p>and software engineering. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
