Connext names national strategic planning head

MUMBAI - OMD Dubai's regional director, Pradeep Ramakrishnan (pictured), has joined Connext, the specialised media arm of Mudra Max, as its vice-president and national strategic planning head.

Ramakrishnan boasts over 12 years experience in media, having begun his career in 1996 with Ogilvy & Mather, and later in 2003 moved to Mindshare Delhi where he was looking after its GSK business. In 2004, he moved to Singapore and worked with Universal McCann and Zenith Optimedia.

Manas Mishra, EVP and country head of Connext, said: “Pradeep comes in at a time when we are getting ready to chart a new course. He will be our key resource in our pursuit of providing business solutions to our clients through media. His varied experience across categories and geographies will also help.”

Ramakrishnan added: “I am looking forward in helping clients connect with consumers more powerfully and thus ensure that in the years to come “Team Connext” becomes a force to reckon with.”

Connext, a unit of Mudra Max, is operational in six cities with a team of more than 70 people. Current clients include Jyothy Laboratories, ICI Paints, Apollo DKV, Amway, ACC Cement, HBO, TTK Prestige, Yatra.com and Sobha Developers among others.
