CONNECTIONS: MSN Advantage scheme reeling in clients in Asia

HONG KONG: Microsoft's portal MSN has signed on clients across a wide range of categories in Asia-Pacific following the launch of its US$10 million Advantage Marketing programme.

MSN clients now include KFC and Johnson & Johnson in Hong Kong; Ford and Nestle in Taiwan; SK Telecom and Samsung Credit Card in Korea; Maybank and L'Oreal in Malaysia, and ING Vyasa Life Insurance and Unilever in India.

MSN is scheduled to launch a new advertising campaign this year, as well as creative direct marketing efforts, workshops for marketing professionals.

The company is also expected to invest in independent research in Asia to underline the effectiveness of online advertising.
