The new recruit will work across all disciplines and will be asked to develop digital strategies for a range of global brand accounts. He brings a significant level of experience (the agency describes him as one of Australia's most experienced digital marketers) to the role, including work with clients such as Telstra, Jetstar, ANZ Bank, and Foster's Group.
Mark Sinnock, regional president of strategy and planning for Ogilvy Asia-Pacific, says Frantzeskos is a "digital evangelist", whose appointment demonstrates the agency's commitment to the digital space.
“Digital is at the foundation of everything we do," he said. "Digital is everywhere and with the explosion of channels, communication needs to create engagement in this space.”
Frantzescos says he is excited to be plying his trade across a regional, and potentially global, brief. "This new role is extremely exciting as it will give me the opportunity to develop digital strategies for global clients, working across all disciplines, in the most digital-savvy part of the world,” he said.
