Coke targets men with new Zero brand

HONG KONG - Coca-Cola has rolled out zero-calorie brand Coca-Cola Zero in Hong Kong, its third regional market launch after Korea and Australia, in a bid to improve its connection with male drinkers.

Coke Zero, which has already rolled out in several markets globally, will sit alongside stablemate Coke Light, and provide an alternative for men who typically avoid consuming brands that contain references to ‘Light’ or ‘Diet’ because of the associated stigma.

The teaser for the campaign is expected to break next week, with the full communications burst hitting the airwaves by the end of the month.
