Coke pitches Olympics activation project in China

BEIJING - Coca-Cola is pitching an activation project in China that revolves around the torch relay for the upcoming Beijing Olympics in 2008.

Led by R3, it is believed that several specialist activation agencies are in contention for the account, including a partnership between Ogilvy and JWT partner Always.

Coke’s current activation partners include Momentum in China, as part of its dedicated Red Lounge unit, and Ignition in the US.
