Coke cashes in on Korean craze with boy band signing

Coca-Cola Thailand has signed Korean boy band Shinhwa to deliver its message that 'Coke enhances your meal time'.

"According to a survey conducted by ACNielsen, there has been a sharp increase in popularity among Thai consumers for Korean TV series during the last six months, especially among teens," explained Chuenhathai Vuntanadit, marketing director of Coca-Cola Thailand. The 'Coke with food -- dance' campaign, created by Lowe Thailand, will run until the end of November.

"In addition to the 'Coke with food -- dance' TVC, Coca-Cola Thailand is deploying a fully integrated marketing campaign around the 'Coke with food' concept, including print and radio advertising, outdoor media, point-of-sales displays and an array of fun consumer activities," added Chuenhathai.
