Coke begins Olympics countdown

BEIJING - Coca-Cola has unveiled an outdoor blitz in Beijing as part of its 'One Year Out' Olympic campaign developed by Coke's Red Lounge marketing unit.

The outdoor component will see Coke signage erected on one third of all available bus shelters available, with an expected 50 executions based on the theme of "shuang", which roughly translates to physical, emotional and spiritual refreshment.

Coke has also roped in sporting identities including basketballer Yao Ming and hurdler Liu Xiang.

A significant part of the campaign will include online.
