CNBC launches podcast service

Business broadcaster CNBC has unveiled a podcasting service, featuring several of its popular programmes and segments, including Managing Asia, CEO Call, CNBC Conversation and Grow Your Wealth. <BR><BR> Available free on a dedicated microsite, CNBC Podcast is part of the network's new media strategy, sitting alongside the already-introduced CNBC Mobile. <BR><BR> According to Cynthia Owens, senior vice-president, news and programming Asia-Pacific, the service will provide greater flexibility to CNBC's viewers. "(It) will extend our unrivalled business news to our local audience, and it's another vehicle that allows us to reach our viewers where they want CNBC."
