Citibank reshuffles its Asia marketing team

HONG KONG/SINGAPORE: Citibank has reshuffled its marketing team and has named David Singh as its regional head of branding and advertising, Weber Lo as country marketing director for Hong Kong, and Ricky Lin as director of investment sales and marketing in Hong Kong.

The appointments come on the heels of the recent departure of the bank's regional head of advertising and branding, David Morgan, and director of marketing banking and services, Angel Ng.

Lo and Lin will take over Ng's post, with Lo overseeing the overall marketing strategy of the bank, as well as the range of banking products and various business functions, including CitiGold Wealth Management Banking, FX and deposit, lending, banking research and public relations and communications.

Lo joined Citibank in 2000 as head of CitiGold Wealth Management Banking and most recently was head of card marketing. He played a key role in the successful launch of Citi-Gold Wealth Management Banking and in the strategic development of the card business.

Meanwhile, Lin will have overall responsibility for product development, investment research, marketing and sales strategies for the bank's mutual funds and securities services. He has more than 13 years' experience in fund management and financial planning.
