Citi selects Publicis for global assignment

GLOBAL - Citi has chosen Publicis for handle its global corporate brand identity and Global Consumer Group (GCG) advertising campaigns, in a move that further weakens Fallon's grip on the business.

According to a Citi spokesperson, Publicis was selected because of its ability to “customise and execute advertising programmes across diverse geographies and cultures”. Strategically, the first communications burst is expected to launch in the next few weeks, with the themes being integrated into Citi’s advertising and marketing programmes for its GCG products and services.
