Cisco reviews regional creative business

ASIA-PACIFIC - At least four agencies are believed to be making presentations for Cisco's regional creative account, which is thought to be focusing on below-the-line and digital media.

The review follows the arrival of Sharon Ee as director of marketing for Asia-Pacific for Cisco, from a previous position as head of South Asia for Palm. It is thought that the quartet includes DDB, OgilvyOne and Tequila. In recent years Cisco has used a range of agencies in various Asian markets, including OgilvyOne and Band. “They are looking for a lead agency, which is a new position,” said a source involved in the review. A Cisco spokesperson declined to comment on the pitch.
