Ciba Vision hands media to OMD

JAKARTA - US-based contact lens company Ciba Vision has shifted its media planning and buying business to OMD in Indonesia.

The lens brand called a review of its media capability in December, which involved ZenithOptimedia, OMD and a number of local contenders.

Billings and the full brief were undisclosed, however the Omnicom agency has been tasked to boost the efficiency of Ciba's media buying.

“The contact lens business is a new category for us, and we hope to add more value to their business,” said Wiwiek Siswanti, managing director of OMD Indonesia.
