CIA Medianetwork Hong Kong says it has won more than US$5

million in new business and that its year-to-date billings is up by 40

per cent.

The media independent's new wins include Chinadotcom subsidiaries, the

Web Connection; 24/7; Chinese women's portal, CWOW; and sports portal,

SportAsia.com.

CIA Hong Kong MD Caroline Foster said that although the agency picked up

the Chinadotcom account last year, "we still had to pitch for each of

the subsidiary accounts individually".

Meanwhile, it has also been appointed by Danone International to handle

the media planning and buying for Evian, an account which was previously

with Euro RSCG.

Ms Foster told MEDIA the latest wins have pushed CIA's billings in the

SAR to almost HK$500 million (about US$65 million), up 40

per cent on the year.
