Chung to lead Arc's offices in ECD role

<P>Arc Worldwide has made its third regional appointment of the year, with the addition of Mark Chung in the role of regional executive creative director. </P> <P>Chung joins directly from 141 Worldwide Singapore, where he served as creative director. Prior to that he worked at Batey Ads, Burson-Marsteller and DY&R. </P> <P>In his new role, Chung will lead a team of 14 Arc offices in Asia and report directly to Charles Cadell, president of Arc Worldwide Asia-Pacific and Linda Locke, regional executive creative director of Leo Burnett Asia-Pacific. </P> <P>"Arc does not believe in discipline silos and nor do our clients' consumers," Cadell said. "Mark shone through in our regional creative director search, given his experience and understanding that allows him to glide seamlessly across practice and discipline lines."  </P> <P>Chung's hire rounds out a recent wave of regional appointments at Arc, which includes Damian Byrne as regional director of interactive/ customer relationship management (Media, 19 May) and Jane Perry for trade marketing (Media, 17 January). </P> <P> </P>
