HONG KONG: Leo Burnett marketing services director Andrew Christy
is leaving to join a Bcom3 agency in Texas amid a restructuring of
Burnett's below-the-line activities in the region.
Christy has spent nine years with Burnett, working throughout Asia to
manage below-the-line activities for multi-national and local
clients.
But the increasing need for specialisation across all communications
disciplines has lead to a restructuring of Christy's department. As part
of this revamp, below-the-line disciplines such as public relations,
event marketing, sports marketing and direct marketing have been set up
as separate independent units.
The vacancy left with Christy's departure will not be filled, according
to a Burnett spokesperson.
Christy is moving to Dallas to take up the post of director of promotion
services at Moroch & Associates.
