Christy resigns from Burnett for US Bcom3 post
<p>HONG KONG: Leo Burnett marketing services director Andrew Christy </p><p>is leaving to join a Bcom3 agency in Texas amid a restructuring of </p><p>Burnett's below-the-line activities in the region. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Christy has spent nine years with Burnett, working throughout Asia to </p><p>manage below-the-line activities for multi-national and local </p><p>clients. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>But the increasing need for specialisation across all communications </p><p>disciplines has lead to a restructuring of Christy's department. As part </p><p>of this revamp, below-the-line disciplines such as public relations, </p><p>event marketing, sports marketing and direct marketing have been set up </p><p>as separate independent units. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>The vacancy left with Christy's departure will not be filled, according </p><p>to a Burnett spokesperson. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Christy is moving to Dallas to take up the post of director of promotion </p><p>services at Moroch & Associates. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
