Chinadotcom on board for China National Games

The organising committee for the 10th China National Games has selected chinadotcom as its exclusive online partner.

In addition to hosting the official website, the portal has developed an online marketing campaign, which will include sending updated news and latest scores of the games via SMS messages to those who sign up for the messaging service on the site. As part of its marketing campaign, the portal has also launched an online quiz related to the sports event, in a bid to generate market awareness and public interest to the site. "In addition to driving page views for our portal, as an online partner for this nation-wide sports event, it should enable us to generate additional online advertising and mobile application revenues," said Paul Jin, general manager of the portal. sm
