China Telecom reviews creative

BEIJING - China Telecom has put its Rmb 100 million creative business up for review, with six agencies believed to be in contention.

It is thought that incumbent agency Changrong will defend its hold on the business against a line-up that includes Euro RSCG, Bates, Beijing Advertising and Leo Burnett.

China Telecom is the largest fixed service telco provider in the country, serving 216 million customers. The company is set to acquire China Unicom’s CDMA business and network as part of a state-mandated restructuring of the country’s telecoms sector.
