Ogilvy, which won the business in a two-way pitch thought to include incumbent agency Grey Global Group, has been tasked with developing strategic communications for the brand.
The move marks a return to Ogilvy for the GoTone brand, which was displaced by Grey in 2006 (Media, 7 April, 2006).
Ogilvy also handles China Mobile’s youth brand M-Zone, an account which it has handled for five years.
