HONG KONG: New World First Bus (NWFB) has dropped China Media
Network and appointed Top Result as its agent to handle the company's
bus shelter advertising space.
The appointment paves the way for Top Result to enter the bus shelter
outdoor business, giving it 20 per cent of space in this category. No
reason was given for the change of agency. Top Result's manager for
professional services, Sallus Wong, said: "Competition in the outdoor
medium is severe nowadays, but this medium only accounts for about four
per cent of total adspend. Because of this, we believe there is strong
potential for growth."
NWFB's change of agency follows a deal by rival KMB and its marketing
representative Texon International to double the number of panels to
4,000, with the expansion of their network to Kowloon and the New
Territories.
