Cheil appoints new CEO

SEOUL - Korea's largest ad agency Cheil Communications has promoted executive VP for client services Nack-Hoi Kim to take over from Dong-Man Bai as president and CEO.

Kim (pictured) has been with Cheil since graduating from university in 1976, moving up to become director of Cheil's planning team in 1989 before working in a series of senior client servicing posts. He is also vice-chairman of the Organising Committee for the Ad Asia 2007 forum, which will be hold on South Korea's Jeju island in October this year.

Bai, who had been president and CEO since 2001, will take up the position of president of the Samsung Social Contribution committee.
