Channel V relaunches website

HONG KONG - In a push to bolster its digital presence, music network Channel V International has relaunched its website to include on-demand videos, VJ blogs and networking features.

The site further encourages audiences to create usernames to download widgets follow the programme schedules.

“Before the site was mainly used to check schedules and it was just content-heavy rather than including visual-added extra features,” a network representative said. “It was more static where you could check schedules but you didn’t have the added-value features such as watching full episodes and interviews and get information on featured artists.”

Channel V also announced that it will further revamp its site in the upcoming months to include more user-generated content, which will mainly include “blogs and dialogues with the VJs”, the spokeswoman said.
