Chan leaves Burnett after 12 years at the agency, five of which were spent in China. He confirmed that his next role will be outside the agency industry, but declined to provide further details. Bramham’s arrival coincides with the appointment of Burnett Greater China ECD KC Arriwong, who fills the role vacated by the departed Ruth Lee (Media, 3 July).
“We are very grateful to Donald for the contribution he has made to our operation in Shanghai,” said Burnett Greater China CEO Michael Wood. “We recognise and understand Donald’s desire to explore new areas.”
In addition, business director Eric Lee and Gordon Zhang have been promoted to operations director roles for Burnett Shanghai and Arc Shanghai, respectively.
In Indonesia, meanwhile, Burnett has hired JWT’s Steve Bonello to become GM.
