CGU Insurance strikes down rivals in bowling competition: Sponsored by ESPN STAR Sports

<p>CGU Insurance were the undisputed stars of the ESPN Star Sports </p><p>MEDIA Bowling Competition 2000 held in Hong Kong recently. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>It walked away with the Team trophy, with Leo Burnett and L&M Promotions </p><p>(Team 2) taking second and third spots respectively. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>In the Individual competition, CGU again struck gold through Steve Chan </p><p>and his score of 370 points. Curry Leung and Agnes Leung, both </p><p>representing L&M Promotions (Team 2), clinched the second and third </p><p>places with scores of 350 and 349. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>In keeping with the spirit of the event, which was for everyone to have </p><p>fun, 'Booby' prizes were also awarded, including awards for 'Gutter </p><p>King' and 'Gutter Queen'. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Mercatela, meanwhile, was awarded the prize for 'Best Team Spirit'. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>About 100 people turned up at the event and the participating teams </p><p>consisted of Buspak Advertising Hong Kong, CGU Insurance, CIA </p><p>Medianetwork Hong Kong, CNN Hong Kong, Emphasis, First Ecom, </p><p>International Herald Tribune, Leo Burnett, L&M Promotions, Mediacom, </p><p>Mercatela, Millward Brown, Newsweek, Optimum Media Direction, Star TV, </p><p>Sportasia.com Ad, and Zenith Media. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>L&M Promotions, Star TV and Mercatela each fielded two teams. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
