The brand has a European network of 20 holiday villages, incorporating a UK-based company, Center Parcs UK, which runs holiday villages in the United Kingdom and a sister enterprise, Center Parcs Europe, that operates in numerous locations in the Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany and the UK.
The group is owned by US private equity group Blackstone, which acquired the operating business and Center Parc villages in 2006. According to a news article in the Financial Times on 9 February, Center Parcs is looking to raise US$1.6 billion to refinance debt and expand its business.
