By Kenny Coyle Phuket A five-resort alliance at Laguna Phuket in Thailand is launching an integrated discount card for conference and incentive (C&I) groups using facilities at any of the allied properties. The Laguna Phuket Plus Privilege Card will allow C&I participants to enjoy discounts on a variety of activities and services from April 1 to October 31. The resort is set in 600 acres of tropical parkland with beachfronts and contains the Banyan Tree Phuket, Dusit Laguna, Laguna Beach Resort, Sheraton Grande Laguna Phuket and the Allamanda Laguna Phuket, each with its own meetings and incentive options. Meetings and dinners can also be held in the 900-seat Laguna Marquee. A training and recreation facility — the Quest Laguna Phuket Adventure — offers team-building and corporate training exercises. The privilege card will be available for general purchase at US$38 each but will also be given on a complimentary basis to C&I group bookings with 50 or more rooms per night in Laguna Phuket. Laguna Phuket marcomms and e-commerce manager, June Seah, said: "After last year's difficult business period, we wanted to look at offering value-added benefits to help attract meetings and incentive groups. This brings together five different properties with their own brands and allows them to promote their facilities in an integrated way."
