CavinKare hands media to MEC

MUMBAI - FMCG company CavinKare has handed its US$15 million media account to MEC, marking the first time the India-based company has used an international network.

MEC, which won the business in a competitive pitch including Carat, Mudra OMS, HEPL and MEC, will be responsible CavinKare’s trio of business lines: personal care, foods and international. Shampoo product Chik is the company’s flagship brand.

HEPL, a subsidiary of CavinKare, previously handled media planning and buying.
