The review, which includes recently-acquired Dragonair titles Silkroad and Sky Mall, covers Cathay's inflight titles Discovery and the Entertainment Guide, duty free magazine The Shop, Marco Polo magazine The Club and Cargo Clan, the airline's cargo publication. "The contract with Emphasis has been extended to September," said Sarah Bloomfield, Cathay's manager, products. "This review is not reflective of supplier performance. Cathay wants to keep abreast of the publishing market."
This follows an audio-visual review which saw Inflight Productions retain audio and short TV features while picking up movies, with Emphasis awarded movies and TV content of Asian origin. Both contracts are for three years.
