Cathay campaign wins LongXi Grand Prix
McCann Erickson's campaign for Cathay Pacific has scooped the Grand Prix for television and print advertisements, at the LongXi Advertising Awards in China. <BR><BR> Following up on a number of successes at recent shows, McCann's 'It's the little things we remember' campaign dominated the categories, propelling the agency up the LongXi rankings to finish third overall. "From that perspective we were absolutely tickled pink," said Vince Viola, senior VP Asia-Pacific and managing director, McCann. <BR><BR> TBWA also shone at the LongXi awards, picking up the Grand Prix for its outdoor work for adidas, 'Diving'. In the overall rankings, Leo Burnett Hong Kong topped the list with 41 points, edging out Ideology Advertising Agency Taiwan with 40 points. McCann Erickson finished third with 37 points.
