Formerly Waggener Edstrom Hong Kong GM, Catanach replaces Nancy Payne, who is returning to the network’s Washington DC operation to focus on digital communications and social marketing. Asia-Pacific president Lynne Anne Davis said Catanach’s appointment would allow the network to continue growing in the two key practice areas. “Our track record in the technology and telecoms spaces is well documented. The fastest-growing part of our portfolio in Hong Kong, however, is financial communications, which requires a depth of expertise that we want to reinforce at the top of the Hong Kong operation,” said Davis.

Catanach began her career as a business journalist and in several in-house PR positions, before moving across to the agency side.
