Cassumbhoy joins Bates in integration role

BEIJING - BatesAsia 141 China has appointed Fareeda Cassumbhoy (pictured) to the newly created role of national integration director, based in Beijing.

Cassumbhoy, who joins from Ogilvy & Mather, will report Arthur Yu, BatesAsia CEO of China and Taiwan.
Cassumbhoy will work closely with BatesAsia regional head of planning Fredrique Covington, and will focus on aligning the agency’s training and development with its planning philosophy.

“China and Asia are the fastest changing regions in the world especially for online and digital,” said Cassumbhoy. “If we cannot help our clients’ brands to capture these changes and opportunities, we will miss the boat”.

Cassumbhoy spent three years at Ogilvy, prior to which she was group account director at JWT China. Her client experience includes Ford, VW, GlaxoSmithKline, Airbus, Siemens, Acura, Beijing Jeep, COFCO, Great Wall Wine, and CCTV.
