Cass poised to select McCann Erickson Korea

SEOUL - McCann Erickson Korea is expected to take Korean beer brand Cass' US$8 million creative assignment, following a final-round shootout against the highly-fancied Cheil Communications.

The development comes shortly after Cass ended its seven-year relationship with Welcomm Publicis after a first round that included the Publicis Groupe agency and TBWA Korea. McCann Erickson representatives declined to comment while Cass Beer did not respond to request for comment.
