The pitch began in February. This is thought to be the first time Cartier has enlisted a digital agency in the Greater China region. Its digital work is handled in France by Publicis.net, but the brand is looking to bolster its digital footprint in China by signing a local agency.
The pitch was held out of Cartier’s regional headquarters in Hong Kong. Digitas Hong Kong pitched as part of a team led by Starcom IP Hong Kong. A price tag for the account has not been released.
