Carrefour selects Integer in China

SHANGHAI - Following its recent appointment of Euro RSCG 4D to revamp its interactive element, Carrefour has picked Integer to help build closer customer relationships offline after a pitch believed to have involved four other agencies.

As one of the world’s largest retail promotions agencies, Integer will draw on its experience in the US, where it works with clients such as Procter & Gamble and Corrs, to assist Carrefour in its positioning and in developing print and in-store campaigns.

David Hunt, managing director of Integer China, described the appointment as a “fantastic win” for the Omnicom agency, adding that it had only established a presence in China in June last year.

Hunt said that work for Carrefour was already underway, but was unable to provide details as to what form the initial project would take.
