Carrefour partners with Integer China

SHANGHAI - Carrefour has appointed Integer to help build closer customer relationships in China after a pitch believed to have involved four other agencies.

The hypermarket chain’s recently partnered with Euro RSCG 4D to improve its online and interactive elements.

One of the world’s largest retail promotions agencies, Integer works with clients such as Procter & Gamble and Coors. It will assist Carrefour in its positioning and in developing print and in-store campaigns in China.

David Hunt (pictured), managing director of Integer China, described the appointment as a “fantastic win” for the Omnicom agency, adding that it had only established a presence in China in June last year, with Eric Wong joining from Tequila as general manager.
