Carlson Marketing opens China office
Carlson Marketing has opened its first country office in mainland China. The new operation, located in Shanghai and headquartered in Carlson Hotels' new Regent Shanghai, will be led by Gabi Kool, who is appointed managing director China, and executive vice president, Asia Pacific. <BR> <BR> Prior to his appointment in China, Kool was based at the company's Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore as regional vice president, overseeing Carlson Marketing's offices in South East Asia. In his new role, Kool will be responsible for overall management and operation of Carlson Marketing in China, and for new business development. <BR> <BR> Carlson's Asia-Pacific presence includes offices in Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Korea and Thailand.
