Careertimes.com launches major facelift marketing campaign

Hong Kong-based online recruitment portal Careertimes.com has launched a major facelift marketing campaign to appeal to young and net-savvy job seekers.

The client has splashed an estimated US$1.2 million on the new year-long marketing campaign, which was created by Metta Communications.

This includes changing its domin name to ctgoodjobs.hk, refreshing its web interface so that is more appealing and user-friendly to young working adults and a creative push to maintain its market positioning.

Dominau Au, assistant GM of Career Times Online Limited, said that there are many fake career ads in many online recruitment portals. "With 50 per cent from insurance or personal loans companies, and we are tightening our QC so that only real and established companies can advertise their recruitment ads with us. We want to provide more quality jobs than just quantity.

The campaign kicks off today and will run across ATL, BTL, print, MTR, buses and online.

Careertimes.com was established in 1997 under Hong Kong Economic Times. It sees jobdb.com as its main direct competitor.
