Marketing responsibilities?
Marketing responsibilities include working closely with the global marketing team in the development of brand building strategies and marketing initiatives.
The team also has to develop and implement marketing strategies and activity plans for local markets and must work closely with the sales team to achieve sales targets.
Part of the job involves analysing competitive trends and proposing action to defend against competitive initiatives.
The marketing staff also works with advertising agencies to produce ads and promotional material, and coordinates with media agencies to develop effective media plans.
The team must also work closely with Olympus' promotion counterparts and business partners to ensure promotion programmes are in line with the company's brand strategy and that there is full integration across all channels involved.
Of course, it also involves managing the direct marketing budget and expenses.
