Out of that, seven are in communications, internet, </p><p>consumer and trade marketing. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Q: What are the responsibilities of AXN's marketing staff? </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>A: They are responsible for building AXN's image as the best action and </p><p>adventure television for the target group. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Q: How does a candidate go about getting hired by AXN? </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>A: AXN looks for candidates who reflect its personality - daring, </p><p>adventurous and irreverent. AXN staffers are a mixed bunch - they're </p><p>roller-bladers, mountain bikers, divers, wake boarders. But they share </p><p>one common trait - they are passionate and are daring, ready to try new </p><p>things and adventures. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Q: Is there an opportunity to move between departments or around </p><p>regional offices? </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>A: Plenty of opportunities to do so. In fact, vacancies are always </p><p>advertised in-house first. For sales and marketing staff, there are </p><p>opportunities to move among AXN offices in Singapore, India and </p><p>Taiwan. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Q: What are the perks of working for AXN? </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>A: Great pantry. It's stocked up with just about every type of goodie </p><p>imaginable, from KitKats, to Cheezels, Mars bars and instant noodles. </p><p>The work itself is exciting, with plenty opportunities to be creative, </p><p>especially in the marketing environment. The atmosphere is very relaxed. </p><p>The management at AXN maintains an open door policy. </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>Q: Where do AXN staffers hang out to relax? </p><p><BR><BR> </p><p>A: In Singapore, there are Margarita Fridays to wind down. Someone </p><p>usually volunteers to invent new flavours and concoctions. There are </p><p>also regular PlayStation competitions during lunch. </p><p><BR><BR> </p>
