What is your greatest work achievement?

Surviving the "return to the head office in Hong Kong after more than five years of exile in Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia and Amsterdam.

What would be your dream brand to work on and why?

I can not imagine working on any brand other than Cathay Pacific.

What would you do if you weren't in marketing?

I would be running a dive resort (with a yoga centre) on a romantic South Pacific island.

What was your big break?

My posting to Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, where I had the opportunity to become a scuba diving instructor.

Who was your mentor and how did this person influence you?

Has to be my boss Charlie Stewart-Cox. He always said, "Don't sweat the small stuff."

He helped me become a socially well-adjusted person.

Is there a secret to your success?

Be fair and speak your mind. Don't expect the impossible but do expect others to deliver their best. Most importantly enjoy your work.

How do you handle difficult clients at work?

Clients are never difficult, just demanding. Clients and agencies simply need a lot of understanding and constant communication.

What advice would you give to the next person to do your current job?

Ask lots of questions. Relax and enjoy! And, of course, don't sweat the small stuff.

Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert T. Kiyosaki. It's always better to be prepared for the worst.

Who is the business person you most admire and why?

Steve Job. He keeps evolving and keeps bouncing back.
