What is your greatest work achievement? Whenever I know I've done great work acknowledged by clients and/or colleagues, and most importantly, by the results.

What would be your dream brand to work on and why? For me, my dream brand is one that is non-existent. I want to face the challenge of building a meaningful brand from birth to maturity to eternal life!

What would you do if you weren't in online marketing? If I wasn't in marketing, I'd be a professional mixed martial arts fighter and instructor.

What was your big break in your career? When my business proposal was accepted by the both the chief executive officer and president of NewAd Media, then Canada's largest indoor billboard company, to expand the network into the niche Chinese market in Canada.

Who was your mentor and how did this person influence you? The vice-president of sales and marketing at Seanix Technology (Canada's largest PC manufacturer). He drilled in me the most powerful concept in marketing: return on investment.

What would say is the secret to your success? Success is a journey, not a destination, and I'm still travelling down that path.

How do you handle difficult clients? I'd say, pick your battles, but never budge on key principles, because that's what a responsible brand steward is supposed to (uphold those principles).

What advice would you give to the next person to do your current job? My advice would be that human capital is the most important, so motivate, inspire and train them.

What are you currently reading that will help you in your job? Built to Last: Successful Habits of Visionary Companies, by James C. Collins and Jerry I. Porras.

Who is the business person you most admire and why? Richard Branson. I admire his ability to create a single brand franchise, Virgin, and successfully leverage it across hundreds of products/services categories.
